Ok, I replaced the door speakers and yes, I broke the clip on the door switch panel. I even read the instructions and thought I was being gentle...
What glue will really hold these parts. I've never had good success with basic super glue.

go to a hobby shop and get the glue they use to build plastic models. I forgot the name of it, but it'll burn your noise hairs and hold together forever.

Whoa..... flashbacks.... :beatnik:
Basic super glue sucks.
I use a special super glue for all my badgeless grills.
It is called Xtreme Bondini 3
It works awesome.

All the glue I tried to fix the same clip failed. Had to get a new bezel.

How about an epoxy?
Make sure you rough both sides to give the glue extra surface area to adhere too.
The hobby-store glue is a CA type glue, I have a few bottles of it, it's like a cyaclsomething or other.

Most "model airplane glue" is actually a solvent which works by melting the plastic pieces together, sort of like welding. It's very effective on polystyrene and ABS plastics, but almost worthless on any other kinds.
This stuff is good but takes awhile to set up

Get a new bezel. You'll spend more money trying glue. (especially when you factor-in your time).
That part is under contant tension. Nothing is going to hold it.
Ask me how I know....:alone:

When boo-boos happen at work, we use JB Weld or JB Weld Kwik.
Maybe give it a try, and if it doesn't work out, just replace it.

Maybe even epoxy, there is a quick set epoxy that will set in 3 minutes and cure in an hour!

Rich - I agree that a new bezel is in order.
Trust me IMO no glue will fix that.

Lowes had a Super Glue for any plastic. Regular super glue doesn't work on all plastics. But, this special one is two parts.

I use these stuff called Automotive Goop...I got it from Advance Auto..It works good for plastic metal or just about whatever i have tried it on so far. And its water proof and dries clear.

Cost me $ 20 for new bezel. 3W7Z-14524-BAE. Just the panel, no switches. I broke mine also.
