Defyant Move

Over the last week or so, Lisa and I packed up the family and moved from our home of almost seven years. We had been on the market for a couple of months when a terrific young couple bought our house.

Look out MaruaderMark, there goes the neighborhood, I am in town.

We moved to a new house in Cecil County, Md. And I have my work cut out for me. Marauder mods will be taking a back seat for awhile as we mod the domicile. There is so much to do, we dont know where to start.

Congrats on your new home. At least you have a drive and grass. Me and the wife closed and moved into our new house we had built. I'm still in the stone drive and clay lot. One day it's a dust bowl, then the next it becomes a mud pit. Oh boy, but at least we moved up in life. We both left the the city we grew up in. I was 3rd generation to live in that city, but times change and its time to move on. Don't anyone shed a tear, cause I go back each day to my job that is stll there. Hopefully till I retire.

Very nice Charlie. You guys should be proud; that's a beautiful home. But not quite as beautiful as that familiar looking car in the driveway! :up:

Thanks everyone. The move went well. Once the base of operations (garage) is up and running, I will be tasked with all the joys of owning anew home. Like hanging blinds and curtians, getting grass to grow, painting, painting and more painting.

Sorry Defyant Marauder, I owe you a bath too. I hope to find time to install the trans cooler I have been holding onto also.

Great House Charlie and Lisa. Hope you and the little Defyants enjoy it for many years to come. Sounds like there's a lot of third bay envy out there (me too!). What to you expect from car guys... we'd be happy with a garage, a cooler and some sleeping bags as long as we have a cool car in the bay.
