View Full Version : On the rack today....
My friend Bob's ( 67435animal (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/member.php?u=1216) here) '69 Road Runner....
This thing is PERFECT (although we could clean up the exhaust a bit for him;) ). We get a LOT of exceptional cars in here...this is certainly one of the NICEST!
Way to go, my friend!

That thing looks AWESOME. :)
I still love how they used the cartoons back then as a vehicle promotion. Don't see that much these days, then again maybe you could...
Honda Civic "Powerpuff Girls" edition...
Hummer H2 "SpongeBob Squarepants" eidtion with special "Yellow Sponge" paint...
Mercury Marauder "Stewie Griffin" edition - It's just pure EVIL...
;)
Love the car, and all jokes aside the Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons were some of the best IMO.

Bad Ass ride but one question... Why is there no H/X pipe?

Not our exhaust work...I was just letting a friend use one of my racks to check out the underneath of his new toy.
That's why I said above....
(although we could clean up the exhaust a bit for him;) ).

True dual it looks like. Thing is, by looking at the pics, it looks like an accurate restoration. So, leads me to believe the exhaust was recreated for a pure factory look and style to be an accurate piece.
Look at a few other things - no headers, and clamps used rather than welds.
Are those tips accurate pieces?
Could be way off, but that's what I suspect...

Oh. :) That explains some of it!
So I may have been way off then!
