That's what the time was on the board .The announcer quit talking , after the other guy redlighted.

Nope, not yet. I was running bracket racket, so that was my dial in.

I am running consistent 11.1x's at 127.xx mph (with me behind the wheel).
Tomorrow I will turn the wheel back over to Shankin for a shot at the elusive 10 second pass..

Marty I know the 10 second goal is very important, but I also know that driving your own car at those speeds...you must be walking on air.....:bows:

Are there some other Marauders there? I just saw one (8:24am CST) run down the right lane against a white with blue stripe new style Mustang. The Marauder ran like a 14.7.

I saw 3 of them running Friday (Marty, Paul, and an unknown guy who isn't online) and at least two more were coming on Saturday/Sunday (Steve and Glenn). I was there Friday but didn't run. Hope everybody does well, nobody breaks, and a great time is had by all!

Good luck Marty. Wish I was there so I could let Shankin wear my lucky racing jacket. Worked at SSHS5 Atlanta. Spool it up and give'm hell...

Marty, I'm glad to hear that you're driving that rocketship. That's too cool!! Since you're having issues with 60' times, I'm compelled to ask you if you ever purchased those other M/T slicks I told you about for heavy cars that I gave you the part # for. Or are you still running the ones that you were before?? And whatever slicks you're running, what's the tire height of them? If you're running a 28" tall tire, then maybe you should try a 30" tall tire, since the bigger outside diameter of the taller tires will have a bigger contact patch. If that doesn't work for you, then next up would likely be ladder bars pal. I've heard they're one step down in the traction department from tubbing the wheel wells and going with a custom four link with a narrowed rear would be.

Could have been me, I ran a 14.219 at 98ish about that time. 11.87 may have been Marty around that time.
