My Ford Dreams thinks that Ford should replace the Panther cars with the Aussie Falcon. This idea gets my vote.

I have always liked the Ranchero type vehicle they sell there, believe it's called the "Ute".

I have read from uncomfirmed inside sources that there will be a significant overhaul for the 08' model year. I have heard that the Grand Marquis, not sure about the Crown Vic, will get a new front and rear clips as well as the new 3v heads. Possibly the explorer six speed automatic. No updates for 07' though. We should know later this year if there will be any significant updates. If there is no presentation for a revised panther by NAIAS, we'll we will know that there probably won't ever be.

Got my vote for the Aussie Falcon.

Of course in a different color.

Also why can Ford Au have a FPG but we get SVT axed, unless Ford US plans on doing its own version of FPG here in the states.

I like the Falcon idea - always have. BUT - is there any appreciable backseat room?

If Ford is looking to keep the largest market it has (cabs, cops) then it needs a bigger car. It's why the DCX and GM platforms are still being outsold by Ford Crown Vics. It's not the performance - it's the size. Our cars have way more storage and even some more passenger room in the police package.

If I had to guess, unless the Falcon is bigger than I think it is, we will not see the Panther cross that way.

What we need is for the Falcon to replce the Fugly 500, and have a performance version. Then I'm on board.

I bet the Falcon is bigger than you think it is. It's at least as long as the 500. If they wanted to, Ford could stretch the chassis, like they do for the CVPI.

What about that "Cash Cab" from the Discovery channel...Seems like a ton or room on tap there!

I really like these cars and hopefully a Marauder will be born out of one of these new designs

One of those questions that there will never be a answer for!

The Falcon GT or the F6 would be sweet. Either one would be nice to see here in the states.

I've been drooling over those Aussie Fords for quite some time now. I'd buy one.
