if it has traction control, and is a US car, it's a 300B

Also, the 300B doesn't have a remote release for the gas lid, no clock in the center of the dash and has a mini-spare.
IMHO the 300A is the preferred car so long as you want black. All Blue marauders and Silver marauders are 300B cars...

Although early 300Bs do have the stand alone clock, remote release fuel door, etc. (just so they could make it confusing)
As far as I can tell, all Blue and silver MM are decontented versions
None have the full size spare though.

John, i suspect the wire harness will be there. Check in the trunk, and in the drivers door panel

RC I was hoping it would be there. I did remove some of the trim in the trunk but didn't see the harness. Will have to look futher. Thanks John

John: PM LML he has the wiring info on DVD and he may be able to help you out by using the computer to search it out. Or, I have the paper version of the wiring diagrams and could search "by hand" if you need (it may just take a little longer!). Just lemme know....

From the looks of things, the wiring should still be there. All that is needed is the new door, the catches and all, the solenoid, and the switch. There SHOULD be a loose wire coming from the Battery junction box to the driver door, then there SHOULD be a wire for the solenoid in the trunk.
My question is this... How come you could open the fuel door on the older Mark VII's, but not anymore?
