"Overhauled" a Marauder? As I am recooping from my surgery I'm watching my Overhaulin' DVDs, and I think most of you will agree, Chip Foose is a master draftsman whose clean, simple designs are dead on every time.
So, I was just thinking, what do you think a Chip Foose Marauder look like?
To me the car looks fantastic in stock trim, other than lowering it and I can't imagine what else Foose could do to improve the asthetic value.

Since the MM is a fairly new car, he might concentrate on the powertrain and interior. Custom sound, guages, etc. Probably drop some huge dispacement engine with a blower and some of his signature wheels. If I got "overhauled" that is what I would like.:D

You think? From the episodes I've seen, he has only done cosmetic work on newer cars. He might add a supercharger but that's it. The rest is all looks.
On the older cars where the powertrain is too old to work with within the timeframe, then he replaces the engine.

You may be right. Perhaps some ground effects and custom paint. Hard to tell. I'm not that creative.

Personally, I think Chip Foose is overrated and overproud of his work...not that all of it is bad, mind you, just that I've seen him take an older car and ruin it with overblown styling, thereby turning a perfectly good, restorable car into a wildly unaffordable (except to Jay Leno) one-off custom objet d'art.

And yet again the RF has hit the nail squarely on the head...Foose took a great 70/71 challenger and devalued it IMNSHO...willie
