because Chrysler bought them and having a Ford V8 was just wrong.

I think it had the 260 in it hence the 4.0 liter badges it had.

Because Get Smart went off the air? I think Chrysler borught the Roots Group that made the Sunbeam cars in '67 or '68. They decided not to continue production.

Yep, I have a coworker restoring one to factory specs, its nearly done, I'll see if I can get some pics. Has a 2bbl 289.

A special run of Tigers were made in LA during the last year with 289 hipos.

What was the name of this special edition Tiger in its final year???

There has been one most Sundays at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sheffield Village, OH. License Plate is some variation of BAD KITTY.
