Hi again-

My dealer has a 300A on the lot since JULY. This is the same dealer I complained about earlier who surreptitiously tried to add $3200 or so via financing "calculations."

Everywhere I have looked (including here IIRC) the MM invoice price is $30,858. This 300A had the CD changer added, and the invoice he showed me read $32,252. Destination was on there for something like $745.

Does this sound accurate to you guys? This dealer will not budge on price -- no wonder he has been sitting on it for 9+ months now. The best price I have gotten out of him is over 30K WITH rebate.

What would you tell a dealer like this? I have already been there twice and they don't seem to care that I leave without a purchase.

I may have to call up to Detroit where I have been told they have several on the lots there.

Thanks all,
-A

I'd tell the dealer to get bent. Buy out of area. You'll generaly get a better deal.

LOL!

Thanks, Mad! I basically already have. I fully intend to show them my new one once I find it. I will let their manager surely know he missed a sale . . ..

Thanks again,

When I bought mine I was figuring that FoMoCo wanted to make some money, i.e. start advertising and pushing what may be the best vehicle in their line-up, so I paid full price, or at least pretty close. Knowing what I know now, poor sales limited run, decontenting, etc. I'd hold out for $26 to $28 k.

Every week the Moron that thought I was not serious gets to see mine. That well teach them. And good luck.
