View Full Version : Finally, Cragar SS Wheels for the Marauder.
These are brand new. They are advertised on 2005 Mustangs already, so they should be good to go for us. They come in 18x9!

Bet the 20x9 for rear with 18x8or9 or 19x8or9 for front would be the ****nit.

I wonder if a 15x10 would fit the rear?

I don't know if it's worth it. I just photoshopped those onto a marauder, and I don't see too much of a difference between the two designs. :-\

post it so we can see, I'd love these and 15 x10 on the back with DOT drag radials would be awesome.

I thought it took a 16 to clear the caliper....
Maybe that was the front.....

The fronts need a 16 to clear the stock brakes.
The rears can have a 15 with stock brakes. I've seen it.
20's...Hhmmmm...
I'm starting to get ideas!!!! :D

18x10 would be nice.
If not, then a 18x9.5 would work too.
Look good w/ some 295/45s in the rear.

I gotta admit that I wasn't too crazy about any of the wheels choices I've seen for our car, mostly because I just LOVE the OEM wheels. They look bad ass and they really make this car's profile pop.
BUT, these Crager wheels are nice. I think the Marauder would look good with these in 20 inch form, so long as the offset was perfect. If there is one thing I can't stand to see it's a set of wheels on any car with incorrect offsets.

You WOULD be able to mess with diameter and widths WITHOUT messing with the basic look of the car....

My point was that if I am going to get rims, I personally am not going to buy new rims that look very close to the ones I already have. To me, they look way too similar.

Those look pretty nice,
but whenever I see Cragar SS wheels I have flashbacks of rusted out Chevelles and Camaros jacked up with Gabriel Hijacker shocks and loud side pipe exhausts!!!
Those are 'UBER' Old School!

Those are 'UBER' Old School! What?? You didn't like my side pipes? I kinda miss them, but now I don't have to worry as much with getting pulled over and getting an inspection ticket because of them. The shock factor was great on them, I could see peoples heads turn as soon as I got on the gas and I know people could hear me coming way before they could see me as their heads would be turned in my direction looking at me and pointing :D . BOW to the side pipe master :bows: is what I would think as I went passed them haha.

Too close to stock to even consider parting with my factory rolling stock.

LOL....
Actually I was referencing the type of side pipes that ran along the rocker panels like a 427 Cobra or a 60's Vette.
ONLY on the beat up Chevelles and Camaros they usually were hanging crooked, BADLY rusted, and had those 'gutter guard' covers to prevent burned legs...:puke:

Talk about flashbacks. The Crager SS was always one of my favorite wheels. They looked great on my first muscle car, 1967 GTO. But for our cars, I still love our wheels......They say MARAUDER

Honestly, I like them a lot. They have a simple and somewhat of a classic look to them. However, too similar to the OEM wheels.
Not that I am looking, but I still haven't seen a better looking wheel for the Marauder than the OEM.

I think that's why I like them...they look similar to our stock wheels but bigger. If they made an exact copy of our wheels in 20", I'd be all over that.

Magindat,
I depends on how deep a dish you want. I am two inches deep on the fronts and 3 inches deep on the rears and the offset is perfect @ 38mm.

That looks sweet how nicely the wheels fit in the fender wells.
Are both front and rear 38mm offset?

Yeah, Eibachs and that is correct about the offsets. They are both 38mm and the rear is a 9. I was more than pleased, I was chit eating grinning when I picked her up.
