One owner, low mileage, ground effects, beautiful interior, CD player, plastic intake manifold . . . DOH! Careful with the hard "romps" on the way home. You don't want to be pulling into a dealer in east TN or S.E. GA to have that thing replaced. When you do replace it, you can buy the OE PI (Performance Improved) intake for the later 4.6's. It is less expensive, has greater volume and larger runners. Just use the original style gaskets.

Nice, relatively safe, reliable car!

Best of luck to #1,

J

Oh Boy, something else to Mod!!!:D
I'll be getting with you on this Tom.
I had a 94, loved it until we had to haul the kids in carseats around, so I traded it for a Windstar. Don't have to worry about carseats anymore...
Jman, thanks for the intake advice.
I'll be driving it home, so I'll take it easy on the intake. Have a PI on the way already.

I have a 94 TBird LX 4.6, black, sand interior, factory spoiler. Car just hit 130,000 miles, and, except for a trans rebuild, has been an excellant car.

I still enjoy washing/waxing/driving it along with my two other TBirds (1958/2003). A very classy car with a style that doesn't scream "I'm from the 90's". Perfect body and interior, but the hood could use a repaint from 130,000 road miles. I still change the oil/filter myself, every 3,000 miles.

Car has the nicest dash layout of any car I've seen.

But, I have to sell it next year when I retire (too many cars).

I have a nice set of 16" TSW Imola rims (no tires) that I took off the car when the tires wore down. I have no plans to put the wheels back on, so if anybody is interested, let me know.

I'm located in Paramus, North Jersey, Bergen County.

They are great cars, mine has the dot matrix on the dash, and steering wheel centre, just like my Marauder

:( I am sadden by this post but glad at the same time. I too was the owner of a T-Bird, my first car. She was a beaute. Black tint, Black custom paint, 18" Borbet TD's. She was absolutly a show stopper but se was taken from me here in DC by some cats that were never apprenhended. That is a great start for the son and I hope he rides it like a Ford should be. If he is into modding have him check out Tccoa.com. They are dedicated to their cars there as much as we are here.

If you like TBirds, you'll get a kick out of the two photos I just put in my gallery.

1) an original 61,000 mile 1958 TBird and 2) the original sales paperwork. (I'm second owner.)

This was my beloved Bird before she was taken from me. This was a sad event but it paved the way for my Marauder.
