I went by Benchmark Chrysler-Dodge today. They had one each of the SRT line out front "on deck." A silver Charger SRT8, A red Jeep SRT8, a black 300C SRT8 and a black Ram SRT10 (and an SRT4, but I didn't look at it)

Here's what the additional markup stickers were:

Charger SRT8 +$10,000 (MSRP was $43,000) = $53,000 + TTL
Jeep SRT8 +$5,000 (MSRP was $46,000) = $51,000 + TTL
300C SRT8 + $5,000(MSRP was $45,000) = $50,000 +TTL
Ram SRT10 - no addional markup (2005 model year) = $39,000 + TTL
However, they said the SRT 10 would not be discounted from MSRP.

The dealer that I work at charges $10k above on all of the SRT8s and they still sell. We still have one SRT10 quad cab left.

Ahem.......I think they are NUTSO!!!!:argue::shake:

The cars are ugly but they do drive well and I guess they limit production to keep the price up but for heaven's sake....get a CV fat tires and a blower for under $30K and be done with it!!??

I wonder how the $50K car will depreciate......like a rock off of a cliff?? After a year....$30K???

I looked at the Chrysler 300C SRT at 2 dealers in the Charlotte area. Both were selling at sticker with no markup. I was told that they sell fast.

I was just at the local dodge dealer yesterday for service .....

They had at least a 1/2 dozen SRT 300's. Don't recall seeing any mark-up stickers ... but don't quote me on that, as I was just snooping & not looking to buy.

They can keep the extra body cladding - the overly large wheels and the seats.

I'd much rather have a regular 300C if I had to drive one.

Still would like to see how a Charger nose would look on a 300.

Oh .....

Their "Magnesium Pearl" color is ths ****znit.

That's OK, I was in the Ford dealership a week ago for an oil change on the Marauder and they have a GT sitting in the showroom. $31,000 market adjustment on that...

They are all selling for sticker here in the big "D". Dodge dealer I went to had four black SRT-8 Chargers. However the one that I drove Monday has been sitting on the lot for about five weeks now.

As A Costco Customer, You Can Buy The Car From One Of Their Dealers For $500 Over Invoice. On My Maruder, I Did Even Better.

The other day there was an orange blast ACR brand new on ebay. Ebay or the srtforums will be your best place to find a leftover.

No Thanks...

253 miles!!! Most of them probably at FULL BOOST on a cold engine during banzai test drives!

I do kinda like those little buggers....SRT-4s really SCOOT!

If anyone is looking for something that may be left over, go to the nearest dealer and have them do a search and locate. You might be suprised of what is still available.
