marauder exhaust new subject

thanks for great info on rear o2s. can someone tell me what all exhaust systems i can make work on my marauder. i know kooks has full exhaust which is nice but exspensive for me. i have flowmaster mufflers already and ordered resonate delete tips but it bothers me about the small diam tube everywhere else. what year model cobra headers or manifold will work on the merc and what year model x pipe to order.also what other mods would have to be done to make them work. i wouldnt know were to just get the pipe from after the muffler to the tips. any help greatly appreciated.thanks again everyone has been a big help.:help: :confused: :stupid:

I asked the same questions when I first got here too. I hated getting the "Search" answer. You get those responses because these "main" topics have been covered many times before.

Will stock 03/04 Cobra manifolds bolt up? To the heads yes, the rest of the exhaust no. Hence Kook's kit, DR's kit and Stainless works. An X-pipe from a 99 and up Cobra will work with the '03/'04 Cobra manifolds but you must add approx. 4" to the X after the cats for the Marauder's longer wheelbase.

Ok, so wha all is involved in making an extension tube for the EGR or can I buy one somewhere? And why is a motor mount extension needed??

Comon, someone hMost people just buy it from Dennis Reinhart or better yet buy his kit. Otherwise I do believe Rich Long made his own. He had a thread on it a few months back and here it is:
