Hi: I recently bought a 2001 CV with about 65k mi. Having a blast driving a
RWD American V8. Checked the Mercury dealer in Charlotte NC where I live
and got a test drive in a 03 MM,it was great even my wife was impresed.
What I would like to know what is the best way to go about buying one.
I checked E-bay,Cars.com & Auto Trader but it looks like almost 100% are dealers with huge markup.Is there any place I could hookup with private sellers.
I have learned quit a lot from all the post on this web site

Did you check this site's classifieds? Usually 2 or 3 are listed all the time.

You will no doubt pay a premium to own a Mercury Marauder because:
They are few
They are worth it
You will not be sorry for the investment in the car and in this site and the people here. Dennis:D

Average mark-down on dealer used cars is 8%. Offer 16% and walk if they don't take it. Maybe you will get lucky.

Real problem, with only around 11000 made, is that there will be very few for sale within 100 miles of where you live.
