I have been shopping around for a new Daily Driver to replace my long suffering '86 Volvo 240 LOL Dont worry I am not a stranger to High Performance cars I own a '95 Cobra Coupe that I play with on the weekends :) I have been looking into a panther car for a while, but a Marauder is more what I want than a Crown Vic.

Is there anything i should look for when i am checking out Marauders?

I'm in Michigan, East Lansing to be exact. I really am selling my car but I was kidding about you buying it. I'm selling her for 30K Check my sig from my first post and you'll see why. She has 12K miles on her and about 2k on the new motor,if you have that sort of scratch you are more than welcome to her. :D

The Cobra has 3:73's,Flow tech shorty Headers, Bassani X-pipe, Flowmaster catback, Steeda Triax shifter, Steeda Adjustable clutch quadrant, Steeda firewall adjuster, B-303 cam, 83mm Pro-M Maf, 70mm t/b, Mac cold air, and a MSD Digital 6.......

I am looking to spend 20 to 25k on one I think 30 might just be a tad too much LOL ... BTW I am looking for a Stock or near stock Black Marauder

I am located in Albuquerque, New Mexico but am willing to travel to west texas, arizona or colorado to pick up a car

Given 8000 out of 11000 were Black, you should not have too much of a problem.

I know that you are looking for black but have you given any thought to blue? Of all of the colors blue was/is the most rare.

Lots of people don't even know what an MM is which makes owning the car very cool. What I like is hearing the gearheads that KNOW what an MM is say stuff like, "Wow. I didn't know they came in blue. That's the only one I have ever seen."

Anyway, give it some thought. It'll take longer to find one but it'll be worth the wait.

Thanks I just recently learned about the Blue ones!!! Very sharp color:coolman: !!!! I would to see one in person :beer: if a blue one comes around for the right price I might jump on it!!! I do love the Black, just due to dumb luck every car I have owned has been white so I figure the next one should be black to off set it LOL!!!!

Dan Yeah I know what you mean, everyone that has seen my car didn't know it came in silver and frankly neither did I until I did my research and found their were other colors because I had only seen a few black ones around here in MD before I bought mine. Sometimes I wish I had a black MM but silver works for me and I only know of 3 silver MM's in MD, one is mine, one I saw on a local highway and the other is the mighty Defyant :D . When I did a search for an MM in a 300 mile range I found 2 silver, 2 blues and a handful of black. Any way you slice it an MM in any color is a great car!

If you have never owned a black car, remember they are a major pain to keep clean. I never had a black car and thought, ok it will be a little tougher but I'm game. It really is a chore. My car was listed on ebay, but I drove to the dealer and went from there.
