Picked up my MM last week. I've seen alot of talk about Reinhart products. What does his stage one kit consist of, and how will it affect my car, "Warranty" Will his chip take care of the 123mi cutoff. And also I've seen alot of talk about changing the gears to 4:10s How will these gears affect top end.:help:

Stage I = Denso Plugs, 180 Thermostat & Chip.

You are best of to do a search on"warranty" & "4:10 Gears". There has been a lot written about it.

Real briefly: Yes the chip will remove the top speed limiter (Governor). Top end will be lower with 4:10's, but how often do you really get to use that?

Like I said. Best to do a search for your questions. All your questions have been covered on this site several times.

What chip, I don't know nothing about no chip, I never saw that before in my life, arn't those illegal, I didn't do it, no one saw me, you can't prove a thing!!

Does anyone know how much additional HP does the Stage 1 provide on a stock MM? Anyone had any stats? Thx!

Geno...You should expect 26-30 RWHP from a Stage I mod. I documented this over a year ago, with step by step installs followed by dyno tests. It's hanging here somewhere in the archives, but I have it in Word too. Write me for the skinny...

MMM2003...4:10s are part of a proper and complete Stage I upgrade, followed by a dyno tune. Stage II adds "undies," torque converter and driveshaft.

The chip is not suposed to invalidate the warranty but yes it can depending on the service manager, if you are woried about the warranty you can send me the EEC and I can flash it, we have already seen 1, 04 that has the service port shut off, if you don't want to send the EEC call me I will send you a Super Chips hand held Tuner, and the rest of the stage 1

Thx a bunch Dennis! So by what you are saying Sarge, that if I would go with the Stage 1, 4.10's and Undies. I should get somewhere around 40 RWHP on top of the 239 RWHP we currently have?

Now now, Geno, I said 26 to 30 RWHP from a Stage I. Undies may add another 5-7 RWHP, and according to others here, 4:10s could reduce your dyno numbers. The only 40 HP gain I've seen, has been TAF's "everything but the blower" Stage X.

Actually...it's 48 RWHP and 55.3 RWTQ...

Dennis is the Super Chip hand held Tuner that you're selling the same as the Superchip MicroTuners 1725? Or is it customized by your professional programing?

WITH 40,000 MILES NOW ON MY STAGE #1 ,I STILL THINK ITS A GREAT PACKAGE . BY THE WAY , MY MM WILL RUN 140 MPH WITH 4.10 GEARS , YOURS SHOULD TOO !!

I'm curious about this too..... I'd hate to invalidate my 7/70 warranty.

Petrograde-I've talked with Dennis today and verified that it is the same Tuner but he got it for me at a very good price. A lot less then our past vendor. Best of all other than the great price, Dennis also said that if I am not satisfied with the Tuner he will take it back and refund my $$$ I then can have him reflash my ECM or sell me a chip. Also finally got some $$$ to get the Stage I & few other toys for an upgrade. Very much looking forward into getting everything installed by Lidio around the corner and run more dyno.
