:help: Fellow Marauderites,
I am writing to get some information on flashing the PCM on my 03 MM3A.
It has a build date of 06-02.

It really stumbles starting off and from reading another post on this issue it seems that the PCM might be the problem.

Since this is a new MM3A with only 248 miles I'd like your recommendations and suggestion on the proper procedure to have this done. I know that I have to take it to the dealer but is there anything I need to do or ask for, for record keeping purposes.

After reading the thread and replies about LM and Ford and their warranty practices I want to make sure I go about this the right way and protect myself from any warranty problems.

Also I purchased an extended warranty and I'm wondering now if with LM/Ford denials on warranties whether that was a good idea or not.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike:up:

Yea I had mine done at my first oil change. It take them 5 min to Reflah the PCM and Its covered under warranty. They tricky part is getting them to uderstand what the hell your talking about. It took them 20 mins to figure out that there was a reflash. he told me its a TSB under "ACCELERATION LAG" in the computer (i guess oasis). FMC knows about it and has address it. all you do is sign somthing stating you recognis that its under warranty or somthing, and they will place a sticker on the engine saying "DEALER AUTHORIZED MODIFICATION". my car was built 8/22/02

Oh yea I forgot: I noticed a difference right away to be honest. She shifted better, and didnt HUNT as much for gears. I don't know if I gained any Acceleration, but Its worth doing, cause I hear it fouls your plugs with the old program.
