View Full Version : A/C compressor is not working.

Ok here is my newest problem that i can't seem to get fixed. My a/c compressor is not working at all. Everything else works heater,etc. The freon is full it just acts like it has no power.Beside a fuse what else could it be?

Low pressure switch gone bad? Try jumping the connectors at the switch or try applying 12v to the positive side of the compressor. With the engine off you should hear the clutch engage.

My AC did the same thing.
The freon needed to be topped off.
If the pressure isn't just right, the compressor will not be turned on.
