My digital camera generates movies in *.mov format that can't be played with windows media player, only quicktime. Is there a way to convert them to a format that wmp will recognize?

A coworker of mine said he'd convert them but in the same breath mentioned something about dubbing in some Richard Simmons Sweatin' music so the CV will lose some weight then posting it on streetfire (shudder)... can't get any respect I tell ya.

basically you'll need a video editing software such as Pinnacle studio, there's a whole bunch out there, try cnet for some freeware/ shareware stuff.

I believe the program WinMPG Video Convert will work for you. http://www.download.com/WinMPG-Video-Convert/3000-2194_4-10523251.html?tag=lst-0-1
