Marty wouldn't do something so lame!

He'd have the kind that flips the car over, just like the Green Hornet!

:D

I have to tell you that I am pretty desperate for more space. I wish could have something like that. I hate to even think about what it costs.

I posted a pic from a different angle before. This is a house in Houston, Texas, the owner has SIX Prowlers, including the last production model he paid $175,000 for at a Christies auction, TWO Vipers, and a perfect vintage GTO.

Also, check out this site. There's a book out there by this name about amazing garages (google it or check Amazon), but this company will build you a palace for your wheels. I like the exhaust ducting so you can work on and tune your car in the comfort of a climate controlled space.

Wow, that is cool. And if you could have the car flip over, well that would be super cool. For atleast an hour a everyday I'd have to flip the car over and over.

Neato. Closest I ever got to that was picking up at the local M.E.'s office. They have a cool turntable in their garage for us. Drive in, spin 90 degrees to load up, spin another 90 and we're pointed back out. Kept us from having to back up down a very steep driveway into traffic.

I totally need one of those! I got a friend who has a car lift in his garage, but this one takes the cake.

Ya know, the logisitics of this are really not that hard, and this can't be that expensive.

All you need is a big friggin hole (aka a backhoe) and a freight elevator. You could even put your small storage shed on top of it for your mower, etc.

Of course, the day the elevator needs servicing is the day you don't go anywhere. You could keep a "decoy" Focus or something in the actual driveway just in case . . ..

Thanks for posting that.

Who is this guy?

I believe that's Eric Langan. He's the CEO/CFO of Rick's (a Houston-based franchise of topless bars). I could be wrong but it sure looks like him.

No, it's Mike Krehel

Here's a Chronicle story from 2002 when he bought the last production Prowler. At that time, he owned >15< of them!

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/life/1635882.html

He also has a web site for this product, but I notice the last update was in 2004:

http://www.hometouchinc.com/

He also has the record for the world's fastest Prowler, 11.655, not shabby considering it was with a SIX cyl engine.

Those setups look AWFULLY expensive......

I don't think that setup would go over well in New Orleans...

All you need is a big friggin hole (aka a backhoe) and a freight elevator. I agree with the first part of your statement about the logistics, but as far as the expense involved, wouldn't a freight elevator alone be big bucks? I mean, think about the hydraulics or any other means that it would take to handle that. BTW, what would posses a guy with those kind of means to buy 6 Prowlers??? To each his own I guess.
