Beltminder system

I read and re-read the owners manual on how to disable the beltminder system. I cant make it stop chiming. I just want to disable the beeping and light. Is that so much to ask? Can anybody help?

It may take some time but if you follow the instructions exactly, it will disable the beltminder audible alarm..but I'm pretty sure you have to to it for the driver's side and also again on the passenger's side if you want to disable the passenger side as well. That means reaching over and clicking an unclicking the passenger belt separately. Best of luck,

Got it to work. The manual tells you to check the light. I thought they were talking about the seat belt light. It was the air bag light. Anyway, thanks anyway.
