Texas may raise speed limits to 80 mph. For now, it looks like just in a few very rural counties, hundreds of miles away from me. Heck, it's a start!

80 MPH will be the minimum, right? This is Texas and as Texas drivers
we usually cruise about 80 now. Man, no state income tax, right to
carry laws and now legal warp drive speeds on the highway.

Is this a great state or what?

So the national champs suck now?

Sorry! They deserved it by beating an overhyped USC team. I don't even like Texas (as in U of) but am willing to give credit where it's due.

Besides - THIS is a REAL prank -- (in reference to just editing a photo to say "we suck" that is)

I knew I loved Texas the first time I heard that distance is measured in the # of six packs it takes to drive there.:D 80 mph may not save gas but it will save beer...and anyone can make gas, only a blessed few can make good beer! Dennis:beer:

BTW, the previous post about Texas sucking was only for jokes. I don't think it sucks. I think it's equal to all other states :D

Ross, you can practice if you come Saturday night....

I'd love to be there Saturday night, but I have a wedding to attend. BTW, Wes, I think I might need some of those new fangled Granatelli COP connectors.

Joke was understood, the worst thing one can do is take things to seriously. If you ever get out our way plan on a cruise night at Chuck's.

You'll get a royal Texas welcome. Even without your Marauder.

Ask me that question after my Michigan plates expire, and I've got to have the front bumper of my new Mustang drilled out...

Hey, Aggie, where do you live?

In the Galleria, but I am in the process of transferring to Denver.

So my cars are in Houston and I am in Denver! But I will be back this weekend. I am trying to get a Cobra get together at hooters (I usually even drive the Marauder!)
