Wondering if any other CAMers were heading down to Ocean City, MD this weekend for the car show? I'm probably taking the MM or the caddy, but I hope to see some more MM there!

Woah. Can you explain more?
I'm actually going to be near OC. I was going to ride up with a friend...but a car show and other MM's could convince me to take the MM. I'll be there the 19-21st getting a bit of R&R and camping out south of OC on Assateaque island.

I believe this show was mentioned last year >>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=20006&highlight=Ocean+City
Not much interested generated in the CAM group last time. Registration was $50-65 for outside spots. Kinda late notice again this time.

When this weekend?
If theres gonna be MM's in OC this weekend I might drive mine. Otherwise I'm leaving it here to keep the salt and sand off it.

I'll be there in the MM. For those who were asking about it, the OC cruise in is held in May/October every year and consists of approx 3-4 thousand classic and muscle cars. There are a few different shows that you can register in (convention center/boardwalk/inlet show)....but I never register for anything, because there are enough small shows going on in parking lots that are free. I always go down on thursday and stay until sunday. Its fun to watch, because you can just sit on coastal highway and see the cars go by.
Best places to see the most cars are:
Inlet parking lot
Convention center parking lot (Friday/saturday afternoon)
Hooters parking lot (Friday/Saturday night)
Inlet parking lot (Saturday afternoon)

Bummer I missed the updates on this thread, but had a blast at the show even without my Marauder. I was camping down on the island so probably best I didn't have my MM with me to get it all full of sand and such.
I saw a black MM with NY plates, and a silver birch with blue (delaware?) plates. the NY car was parked both times I saw it on the main drag. I saw the silver birch going through the cruise line on Saturday night.
Was my first time being up there during the cruise like that. Ton's of hot rods, and the strip was fun, people lined up on the side watching all the hot rods and modified cars cruising by.
Kind of an interesting environment, I took the role of the spectator and saw some relaly cool cars. :)

Here's some pics: http://www.neuralimpulse.com/cars/shows/ocshow01.html
I took most of the pics of odd cars, didn't focus much on the more popular stuff, though I did snap pics of some of those that stood out.
