Remember how disappointed you were on New Years morning in 2000, and there wasn't a flying car in the garage?

Well here's some folks working on fixing that problem.

You are on it. DOT and the NHTA (the Jane C's) will approve this great idea only when there is so much added crap for (driver safety) that it won't be able to get airborne, I am afraid. I love it and would happily serve at the test pilot. Ship it to me now! Dennis:)

If you want a real flying car, here it is: http://www.moller.com/skycar/

They claim it will be certified no later than December 31, 2008. The first one's will sell for just under a mill, but if you take delivery position 201 or higher it's yours for $500k. Does 375MPH with 4 people on board.

You'll note that it is a DTR! They really fly!!:burnout:

I don't predict flying cars in our future any time soon. There are a lot of drivers out there that do not pay attention, I personally would not want to give them another axis to screw around with. Imagine the lawsuits against manufacturers for failing parts and deaths, etc.. etc...

That is the biggest scam going!!! Moller will never produce a flying car. I have been following his antics for decades. I will build a flying car before he does!! And yes I have seen the same lame videos on his websight, yes I was duped also when I first heard about him about 30+ years ago.
Check out this link ...one of many...

Never mention Moller again...I forbid it!!!!!

Hey I'd love to see it happen, but this statement from the CNN report:

"The projected price tag? About $150,000, roughly the price of a fully loaded Ford GT sports car."

Wont do much for the rest of commuting America.

Well, that and the price of plutonium is through the frickin' roof lately. We need to invade another nuclear power to keep them prices down.

My last flying car only got like 150 million miles to the cc. They're working on a hybrid, I hear.
