Windshield Polish?

This probably doesn't exist, but here goes:
You know how your windshield gets little bitty dings and pits over the years? Nothing big enough to crack it, just tiny little pits that don't even show up unless the sun hits them just right? But when the sun is at a certain angle, there is a lot of glare, distorted light, etc?
Is there some sort of polish or something to smooth out the windshield surface to remove (or maybe fill in) these little pits?
Or am I just too picky?

Save your money on the zaino stuff. Get some #000 (Tripple Zero) Steel Wool and some Invisible Glass glass cleaner. Trust me, it works ;)

If they are in fact really pits, then there's nothing you can do about it really. Try the steel wool and see if that doesn't improve the look.

I know some glass repair/replacement companies will "grind" down the windshield some to remove small pits.

I agree. You can only do so much with glass,
Rainex is good...but that's about it. Won't help sandblasting/chips.

I have full glass coverage on my MM about $10.00 extra a year. If it's broke they replace it no questions asked, no deductable.
