That's cool as hell, thanks for the link. Man I would love to get out on a long course. I wonder what the smoke at around 1:05 was all about though?

Holy crap that Vic was fast! That had to be Reinharts or one he hopped up. That car had ZERO body roll. Did you see him burn the tires from a 40 something mph pull? Im impressed.

This was what the dude said that originaly posted the link on the Grassroots Motorsport page;
I have a buddy with an ole Crown Vic Interceptor, converted to track duty. Lots of time and tuning went into this beast. He has gone 1:50's at Road Atlanta on Street tires, with a bad tune.
Thought you guys would appreciate some vids of him in action. This is right after he got it retuned. The chase car is a 96 Cobra, lots of suspension, but no mods to motor. Note when he climbs the hill.

That looked like a blast of fun to do. And there was 2 tons of it. Some serious mods are there. Great vid.

that Vic is hot and he can drive it. Looked like Shakes at Sebring running down Cobras. Got my heart beating watching that vid. Goes in the archives for blue days:) Dennis

Very impressive. You can see the Vic has it's own camera too.
Who can find us more information on this Crown Victoria? I would be interested in seeing it's suspension modifications...

Cool video. I personally think the guy in the Mustang convertible with the top down was having the most fun.

That must have left a dent in the ego of the 2 mustang drivers that they couldnt hang with a 2 ton sedan

I would love to know more about that car: engine, suspension, who did the work, etc. That thing rocks!! Really, lighting up the tires at speed....

Could be open diff. Only the right side tire lit up after hiting the sand in the shoulder. If it was limited slip and he stayed on it that hard for that long the rear end would have swung more. I will say this...that guy can drive!!

I sent an PM to the guy that posted that originally on another site asking for the CV owners E-mail or a mod list if he has it. Hopefully we can shed some light on this insane Vic...

I was wondering about that one tire smoke out also. But other than that...my heart got to racing like it would be when I play GT4 with my Logitech Force 2 wheel. I would like to know what he had done to the suspension and brakes because he got real deep on one of those turns. MAn I love racing...straight line is fun, but taking turns at speed, going in high, apexing and coming out hard....nothing else like it.

Hey, here is another vid from two years ago. I think this was a different car, but the setup was the same.
