I know this has been beat to death, but I just found blisters and "eruptions" on my roof. Yes its an August '02 built 300A, black,of course with 47k mi.

The big question is there any official or un-official or even "secret" Ford warranty on the paint? Or should I just skip the drama and go to my favorite body shop and get the roof repainted?

If you have connections through your company--Ie
fleet..police taxi or delivery/shipping co..through your
or your spouses employment..Done this way you pay
a percentage of the repaint but it's still cheaper..
Talking to the dealers is like pointing a gun to your own head..

Grampaws approach is absolutley correct. The only reason why a dealer would perform a service like this, is if they could pass the cost down the food chain.......

They have no interest in performing a goodwill type of service unless directed by the manufacturer who will pick up the cost. Nor will they fight your fight for you with the manufacturer, because we all know Paint will never fall under a manufacturers warantee......
