I am thinking about placing a call to see what the 411 on this is. I knew one was made and it was not driveable. Could have someone made a driveable one?? Interesting find....;...

Something tells me they used the wrong photo for the car and it's decription... I agree. Some time ago, it was mentioned that this auto show "drop top" did not have a VIN or title, and could not be sold as a motor vehicle. Indeed, the selling dealer here may have picked the wrong stock photo from the internet.

IMO the picture is a file photo. Probably a sedan for sale.

The concept MM Convertible was not road worthy and couldn't be registered for street use.

^^^what they said^^^

Nowhere in the description does it say the car is a convertible...but I'd love to know how many 2002 Marauders were built... :shake:

I know where the "Real" deal is. An old employer of mine bought it. He put a lot of work into it to get it together since Mercury didn't finish the job. Sad to say he and his dealership are nowhere near Colorado. Knowing him he isn't giving it up anytime soon. We used to have a 1979 Mustang GT350 with the metric wheels in the showroom each spring. This was back in the mid 90's. He doesn't give up his toys easily.
