What other vehicles use the same engine that is in the 03-04 Marauders?

Is it just the Cobra Mustang or did other models use it.

the 03-04 cobra is not aluminum.... iron block....good rods, good pistons, good crank.

Technically, I think the engine assembly in the Marauder is unique in that the air intake is different on all the other 4.6 DOHC applications. You can also say the engine (4-O2 sensors on the '04, 2 on the '03) and transmission (4R70W & 4R75W) is different between an '03 and 04.

Since we are discussing the engine...................

Were all Marauder engines the same or were there 49 state versions and Califonia versions?

(4-O2 sensors on the '04, 2 on the '03) My '03 300A has 4 O2 sensors...

I think he meant knock sensors

That would still be incorrect...the '03 has 1 and the '04 has 2...

While there are LOTS of 4.6L 32v motors out there, there are only a couple that are directly related to Marauder.

03/04 Mach1 Long Block - Cams are a different grind, Upper/lower intakes are different, and pulley assy is different.

and...

The Lincoln Aviator... Again, Cams are a different grid, upper/lower intakes are different, and the pulley assy is different.

The aluminum 01 Cobra motors and earlier are different blocks and to my understanding not the same castings.

For those considering using the Marauder motor or trying to replace a blown one, that's pretty much the relevant info...
