just want to know what the rest of us are paying for premium fuel these days. i am in Putnam County ny and border on Danbury, Ct. I paid 325.9 for Gulf for my 04 MM today while regular is 3.05, That is the absolute lowest price in this area. They shot up in CT about 2 weeks ago when the premium was 3.12 and reg was 2.94. In ny it was always high. But now Ct prices are ridiculous. thanks

It's back "down" to $3.029 when I filled up with Sunoco 93 yesterday. I can't help but feel that this Up-and-Down pricing is all a conditioning exercise so that we feel like we are getting a break.

It has gone down a bit in South Florida. I am at about $3.10 for premium and about $2.85 for regular. Still doesn't affect my love for this car!!!

Today when I put some gas in the car I believe, it was $2.99 for premium. MM2004 I hope your prices don't travel about 3 hours east, even though I'm sure they will and get higher quickly.

Unfortunately, the big oil companies learned during the Katrina scare that we will pay anything for a gallon of gas, within reason.

Has anybody waited in line for gas over the past year? There hasn't been one gas station here in the NY/NJ area that I've seen that didn't have more than enough supply.

So, we're paying through the nose in the event that something affects the supply, and then the prices will go even higher?

Wow.

Now, if Exxon/Mobil could only figure out a way to convice us that there's a shortage of air..........

I'm getting Shell 93 Octane @ $3.35 close to home.
I have been looking but haven't found it any cheaper in NY.

NJ is selling in places @ $3.09 for Sunoco 93 Octane.

Just returned from three weeks in France. Paid as follows for the lower octane gas:

High of $7.74 a gallon in Paris.
Low of $6.80 a gallon in the South of France.
Average price around $7.28 a gallon.

Diesel Fuel was about 90 cents less per gallon at each station.
Premium Gas was about 25 cents more per gallon at each station.
