There's a link with model number on my cardomain page to universal fit magnaflows that are on my MM. Call Todd, though, I think he prefers a different model number.

From another thread HERE (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=20248&highlight=magnaflow+part+numbe r)(keep in mind...I state my personal preference here of the 4X9 over the 5X8...your preference may vary...)

....the correct number is #14355 or #14356 for the correct "look"...the "255s" are 5X8s and look a little "squatty" under the car. BTW...both the "355" and "356" are the same muffler with 2 1/2 inches going through them...the "355s" just have the nipple compressed to 2.25", but any competent exhaust professional would be able to use either with your stock H-pipe....

NOTE: Replace the first 2 digits (14) with (11) for the non-polished stainless version of these, if you want to save a little $ and don't want/care about the polished look....

hope this helps....

My personal observations:

If you are doing the Magnaflows for sound (like me) and a bit more "umph" be sure not to go too far in your first step.......They are kind of like our OEM setup in that they get louder with age!! I've had my 18's on now for about 3 weeks and they are very noticeably louder than when first installed.....Still very mellow and throaty with no "Drone"!!:bows:

When Todd first started my car to back it off the lift after the installation I wondered if I had made a mistake since it was very quiet.....Sounded like listening to a race car with your fingers in your ears?? On the drive back home it actually began to sound a bit bolder but now it is JUST RIGHT for me!!

My point is....be sure to make one change at a time or your car may be too loud for your liking!!

PS: It appears that the reduced back pressure of the Magnaflows is giving me a bit more fuel economy but it sounds so good accelerating aggressively that it may be moot unless I behave myself!!??:shake:

I've got the (11"s) and they are very ..well,,,you hear me before you see me--...love them --get them for your car........my wifes T-Bird will need new exhaust system by next year ..so I thinking of taking it to TAFs for a complete make-over---so it too will be heard before you see it----and of course see my first MM buddy friend for the day and evening......yahoo!!!
