Man, I so wish I could afford to buy something now... there's Mac's KB #1 for sale, Logans Trilogy #1 HD F-150, and this gorgeous 55 F100 for sale over in Lawrenceville, GA

I was seriously considering an HD F-150 when I bought my SSR. If I had waited, I would denifitely bought Logans HD right now (sigh).

Why do people insist of putting chevy small blocks in FORDS????? Get over it!

I was gonna say these are not project cars, sounds like they're all ready to hit the street. But that truck needs a new engine.

I don't have a problem with Chevy small blocks, great engine, but why put it in a Ford?

I agree, any time I see that in Hemmings I stop reading, no slam on GM but I think the engine should match the chassis and body, at least by make.
IMHO...

Yup, good exceptions being anything outside of the "big 3" I.E. all mopars, fords, and chevys should have powerplants from their respective companies. Each had a "legendary" V8 to use. :)

Other makes are an exception. And Rat-Rods, where anything goes.

I still do like that truck, and nice touch with the video on the ebay ad.

Yeah, I mean't to say "buy somebody's project car" but f'd it up.

I speculate the reason you see a chevy engine in this truck is the guy who did the work, Mike Chesser, seems to lean towards old GM iron at his shop.

Still, remarkable work on this Ford.

Nice old Ford. I'm chomping at the bit to get this thing restored:

I have to convince my grandpa he will be fine driving just his Marauder for a year or so while I get his truck back into shape.

And I want to get started on the Impala soon too...I'm tired of seeing it sitting in storage.
