Don't know if anyone is interested in auto crossing but I'm gonna try to make this event. Its at the St Pete College off US19 South and about 22 Ave South.
One of the guys from Tampa Bay Mustangs told me about it. Looks like fun, although the course is usually tight as the pad isn't all that big.
Its mostly imports but I didn't see any Fast and Furious types there the one time I drove by and watched.
Check it out;

I might try to make it just to watch. I hope there's some shade trees down there!

Not many trees but there is a covered area with benches. Wear your sunscreen :fire:
You can check out my dash trim tape job to see if you like it or not also :)

Hey J,, doesn't look like I'm gonna run because I have to work that day at 3:00, but I'm gonna show up at 0700 and help with the course setup and watch. Then run the next time!
Any Marauders gonna go????

Outside chance I'll come down, have to check if the D'Rays are in town that weekend.
Promised the family we'd see at least one game this year...

I'm in St. Pete and might be able to stop by and watch for a while. I haven't run an autocross since I got out of BMWs in the early 90s. Not sure how a 4100 pound 20 foot long Marauder would do?

Hey Jake and David, cool to meet you and your family. So,,,,,,,,, racing next time? I'm definitely in, although I'm not sure about the Primus track, SPC for sure.
You both have great cars, cool mods. My dad dug the Marauder!
Jake I should of thought to bring some of that striping tape,,,, its expensive and I had to wait a week to get it shipped (no one had it in stock around here). Anyway, if you like the dash I can get you the tape.
Let me know if you can hook up those police parts, that would be wayyyyyyyyy cool. :burnout:

Eric,
Once again, I am so rippin'-off your mods. That spoiler is so cool! On the parts discussion, you're gonna need an airbox as well. I've had some people looking for one for me but have gotten an MM one in the meantime.
Here's the fabled panther. You'll appreciate the story:

Holy *****, I arrested that girl about 6 months ago for a felony and as a runaway. The family was having serious problems with her and was glad she had an arrest so they could get her "help".
We went to an invest with the State and dad swore up and down she needed to be charged.
Then on her arraignment hearing they went before the judge and said what a nice young woman she was and how she had changed and all this other stuff.
I called the dad back and ripped him a new one because the judge let her go back home. She ran away again three days later.
Now I see he is saying "she can finally get the help she needs",, well thats what he said last time.
I guess thats what he gets for not sticking to his guns the first go around.
Wild story!
I wonder what year that one is? Looks like the ECM is next to the spot light hahaha. So what do they do with cars that are totaled? Keep them for parts or what?
Oh yeah,, how come the www.sunshinestatemarauders.com (http://www.sunshinestatemarauders.com/) site does not work? Is the site dead?
C-ya!
