He looks as if his mother ripped a long nasty fart just as he was entering her birth canal. One freaky looking dude.

I'm willing to bet that he will. They need the info a launch will provide, even if (if) we're able to shoot it down. Even that is good info for him. Can we hit it? I'm sure everyone wants to know that so they adjust their plans accordingly.

No doubt he's reading the papers and watching our news and he's deffinately seeing a lack of support for any military action here, there, or anywhere.

He has got to know that;

1. We won't invade.
2. We won't nuke him.
3. No one else is going to invade him or nuke him.

A launch is a win/win situation for him.

China has a valuable opportunity to prove itself on the world stage. They should capture and re-settle the North Korean dictator and set the stage for Korean reunification.

China is far more interested in Taiwan. I don't think China could care less about the world stage. For thousands of years, they've been in it strickly for themselves. One day, probably sooner than later, they'll just take Taiwan in a full tilt, blitzkrieg style attack. That's what I'd do if I were China.

Who'd stop 'em? What would they lose? What would they gain?

It's clearly another win/win situation as far as China is concerned.
