Is this a good service manual?
It seems lately that they cover less and less...
Just wondering since I haven't seen one first hand...Thanks for info...Architect

Depeds..no not the kind you wear.
The procedures in many cases are a little vague, they're written for soemone who is fmailair with the cars, etc. Sometimes they have a helpful nugget you would not have otherwise known.
The troubleshooting is good, the wiring daigrams are good as well.
All in all I found it worthwhile.

Is this a good service manual? This is the official Ford factory service manual. I doubt Chilton's would be any better and Haynes manuals are pretty poor in general...

It's really two books, one general automotive and the other electrical system specific. At times, it doesn't seem well organized and you have to hunt the 411 carefully, but there is always an answer. Every part mentioned has a group part number that helps the part dudes track down your specific need and I have never been disappointed. Pricey, but worth it, and you don't need a DVD player.
