I posted a thread on a 9 page article in MotorTrend, August 2006 issue on the Dodge Challenger R/T a couple days ago. See thread below titled "Vanishing Point Revisited"

2009, it's time to sell the Marauder and get a Challenger.

May be tempted to sell the GTO for one eventually, depends on price, options. The 300C Hemi I use at work sometimes is very, very nice.

The Challenger really is a good looking car. I'll take another look in '08.

Just finished doing inventory at Dodge. They were told today that the Challenger is officially a "go".

I can't wait to see them on dealer lots. Good times ahead.

Kinda dumb for DC to only offer it in V8 trim.
Mustangs are sold mostly in V6 configuration, and have been for many years.
Of course any of us 'round here who will consider the Challenger, the V8 is the only choice anyway.

Along those lines, I too am a "Man of Size" and the 300C at work has plenty of room for me and I bet the Challenger will as well. Compared to our cars I think there is more legroom, headroom about the same, it just a narrower car. Lets see, in a couple of years, sell the GTO, then get a nice dark blue Challenger with a black interior, large hemi, 5 speed. Sounds like a plan.
