Help with photo uploading

I would guess this has been said and done before, but my search failed to produce any help: would someone mind helping me with my internet and computer knowledge deficiency concerning how to upload photos to this site?

I have photos in Roxio and in Google's "Picasa" software. Need instructions on transferring them to here. Thank you in advance, HRM

Click on Photos at the top of the page
(I don't know if this step is still necessary) Click on Register - this is your screen name and password. Once you're registered, you log in each time to the Gallery. Even though you're logged into the site, you need to log in separately to the Gallery.
Click on Upload
Click Browse to find the pictures in your designated folder on your computer. Note the maximum size for all your pictures. Large pictures take up more space, using up your alloted Gallery space more quickly. Optimum is 640x480 to conserve space.
Enter any text you want to appear with all your upload.
Select Members's Galleries
Click SumbitRoxio and Picassa are programs you use to see and organize your photos. Your use of them isn't involved in the steps listed above.
