There is NO prize if you guess.

It was hotter than hell and a great turnout with judging to be completed by tomorrow afternoon.

Check out the pics and give us a guess....

Mike.

BTW, I won a cool doorprize as well!

Judging by the green grass, you were no place near Dallas, Texas.

Doing a Lap at the Brickyard?

Ding Ding Ding...!

I drove up to mercman's place north of Indy for the All Ford and Mustang Show this weekend in the infield at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

There were approx. 230 cars present for the event with judging of the cars who were entered in the show plus....

Ready?

Are you sure?

A full lap around the most famous reacetrack in the world! :D

Each person received a cetificate of authenticity of making the lap with a picture of that person driving their car over the bricks at the finish line.

Unfortunately, our driving speed was strictly enforced to a crawl giving me many opportunities for pics to be taken.

This show is an annual event, and will attend next year. This will be a wonderful chance to show off our MM's as there were only 3 present. The third car was not a member of the board and the owner did not seem to have an interest in gaining knowledge about the car.

BTW, she took second place in the class we were in.

Dan and I did not come home with any hardware but nonetheless had a wonderful time.

Pics will be following shortly...

Thank you Dan for the hospitality and letting me stay at your house!

Mac is a wonderful dog!

Mike.

Looking good guys.

That Town Car next to you jumped out at me too.

Looks like it has the square "Electronic Fuel Injection" badge on the fender behind the front wheel ..... which would make that a 1980 - 1983.

Any more pics ?.

PS -

Cute pooch too.
