Ran a new personal best todayof 14.072@97.86 shaving 2/100ths of my time. :)

Funny thing is it was at 3:30 in the afternoon, full sun and temps in the higher 70's. It didn't feel like record setting weather to me so I set my dial in at 14.09. Put me on the trailor after the second round of eliminations in the ford challenge.

Another heart breaker was going out in the second round of the car club challenge against the points leader. On that run I set my dial in to 14.15 after running a 14.094 20 min earlier. (ALMOST set it to 14.14 :mad2: )

-----Mine--------His
Dial -14.15------12.99
R/T -.006-------.060
60 -2.094-----1.678
330 -5.980-----5.173
1/8 -9.126-----8.158
MPH 78.47-----81.80
1000 11.841----10.763
1/4 -14.144----12.986
MPH -97.52-----101.01

It was still a fun race. I knew he was a fast car, so I lit the 1st yellow 1st. When he lit the 1st yellow he turned up the rpms to (Guessing) 3-4000ish, so I waited and made him lite the second yellow 1st, which turned into a classic NHRA staging duel. :)

All in all I got 8 runs in so it was a good day.

Sounds like you had fun anyway, and it's always nice to come away with a new timeslip. It'll be really nice to skip the 13's all together though. BTW, what's the ETA on FIT #18? I've got my old airbox pulled out and ready to ship off.

It ships on Monday. :)

I almost forgot about the air box.
