Turns out I don't have to sell my 450 horsepower small block Chevy anymore. It's still not running right so in a few years it's going to be rebuilt and bored to a 383. What should I put this in? I wanna make this my race car that I can drive to the track. I was thinking something off ebay thats a roller. Maybe something that already has a roll cage and is mild. I don't wanna get anything that used to run 8s. This has to be street strip. So my ideas are a Chevelle 69-72, Nova/Chevy II year doesn't matter, Malibu 78 or something close, Monte Carlo from the 80s, C10 Chevy or 2WD K5 Blazer although I thinks it's going to be too heavy no matter how much I gut the thing. Any suggestions? Keep in mind I will spend no more then 3K for a body.

I would try to find a mid to late 80's Camaro Iroc, Firebird Formula, or Trans Am.

My list of choices:
2nd Gen Camaro (would be tempted to go more pro touring, though)
Late 80's Monte SS

And now for something completely different... 69 Pontiac Beaumont:
