Owner's Manual Case -- White or Red Lettering?

This just came up during a posting of the pics for the owner's manual kit. Some folks have the lettering in WHITE with the Waterfall emblem. Others just have the Waterfall emblem stiched in RED? OK, who has white? Who has Red? And who has something different?

Pattern would suggest that white letters/logo was yet another 04 model year decontent? Seems the poll might need model year to get at that data bit.

Nope ... I have White lettering and mine's an '03 Blue 300B build date 10 January 2003. Maybe the case was changed at the 300A to 300B shift.

Well, actually, mine is a 300B and I have red. I know I have red, just don't recall if it's logo and lettering...

It looks like 03's had the red and 04's had the whiteYep...Sure looks that way. My three red waterfalls are all '03 Marauders. Two 300As, one 300B. My white waterfall/Mercury logo came from my '91 Gran Marq., so, it looks like a step back to the orginal design for the '04s.

I purchased an 04 kit from Helm last month and it has the waterfall & Mercury name in white.

The one that came in the car is also white but being the second owner I can't say it's the original one.

I have the white/white.....I just relized also that I have a full size spare tire cover over my mini spare instead of the one that fits the mini spare.....found this out looking at a black 04 at a lot.

Finally was able to remember to check my case when I was driving to work this morning. I have red waterfall emblem with no lettering.

You'll find these symptoms increasing in direct proportion to amount of time lapsed since you last drove an MM. :P

Would have had it's own unique leather owners manual case.
