According to the owners manual you can find the factory keyless entry code taped to the computer module but the OM doesn't tell me where this computer is located.

Would someone be so kind as to let me know where the keyless entry computer module is located.

If it is the Car's ECU....on the driver's side firewall inside the car.

You need to remove a black plastic cover (3 push pins) to remove it. It is up on the firewall. Shinny silver rectangle.

I found my code in 3 places, on the left side trunk hinge, below the drivers side "A" pillar near the top hinge, also on the module under the drivers side door panel. It's also supposed to be behind the glove box on a module.

You would have to drop the dash to find the small sticker with the 5 digits or their should be a another sticker in the trunk on the bottom side of the rear deck. Thats where mine "were".

I went through ths crap when I bought mine without code cards. If the decals are all removed, take off the driver dor inside panel. The keyless module is at the front bottom with the 5-digit number plainly visible.

I did not find mine in a sticker anywhere. I removed the drivers door panel and that is where I found the code taped to the module. I followed the speaker install instructions on how to remove the door. http://www.mercurymarauder.net/reviews/showproduct.php/product/7/sort/2/cat/14/page/1 (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/../reviews/showproduct.php/product/7/sort/2/cat/14/page/1)

Nothing on or near either hinge so off comes the drivers door panel.

Took the door panel off and almost missed it at first.

When the owners manual says you will find it taped to the module I was looking for something that was taped on. Why they can't just say sticker when they mean sticker I don't know.

Below is a pic of what the sticker looks like.

If your code is 12345 then you probably saw 'Spaceballs' one too many times.
