What a great day! First, not having to carry mail in 100 degree heat was great, but to spend it with good friends was even better.

I went over to Atlanta to get tint put on the front windows of my Harley truck (Formula One) and show it off to Scott, Jason and boys at Team. Later, I caught up with Todd at Grand Muffler and Truck Performance, where his daughter Ellen was helping out for the day. Capped it off with another trip back to Team for a first oil change, then down to the Summit Racing Superstore south of Atlanta.

I got a chance to drop into Pro Speed, Shankin's shop and domicile of Legal Knevil. Cool place. Never seen so many mustangs in one place outside of a dealership.

Very productive day, the modding schedule is mapped out. This will be a lot of fun.

So, here's the pics:

Todd's going to put on a new Magnaflow catback exhaust as soon as they release it for sale (about 6 weeks or so). He had it on the rack to look it over.

Two '06 special editions: Big Yellar is called that for a reason!

Donny...as I always say...it was GREAT having you stop by, my friend!

And I must say folks...I've never been more impressed with ANY truck...this F150 HD is the nicest I've EVER seen, driven, etc.

You made a fine choice Dr. Carlson....

Looks good, I had an 04 HD F-250 before the Marauder and I liked it, I would have looked into the F-150 more if it came stock with the S/C like the past generation.

Nice looking ride Donny. When do the Mods start taking place?

Technically, the first mod was the Line of Fire, then the Ford Racing oil cap cover, the Harley Davidson logo plate, then the window tint.

When I got home, my Recon LED third brake light was here. This is a complete replacement for the OEM light with a smoked cover. Looks great. Pics will be posted soon.

The next phase will be installation of a Hellwig sway bar on the rear. It already has a beefy sway bar on the front, part of the HD handling package, but no rear swar bar. This will go on along with some lighting mods that Jason will be doing. I'm in the fence about putting on the Screamers, though the Alabama DPS has said they are legal.

I will likely order an Xcalibrator 2 from Lidio for an intermediate tune until the supercharger goes on. I'm making a push for the SC, so no cold air intake or gear swaps are going on, and there was even some discussion of holding off on the Xcalibrator and waiting for the SC tune.

We're going to retrofit some factory options that were not ordered originally.

There's quite a lot, and I am in no hurry. It's the process as much as the outcome.

02 and 03 were the only years they where supercharged, most people have no idea any of them came blown even with the emblems on it, every car show Im in I get a few questions about how hard was it to install the blower .... not hard at all for me!
