I can't believe that none of the SS guys in Michigan have gotten the personalized plate, VLADD. Wouldn't it be cool to drive "Vladd the Impala"?

When I hear Vlad the Impailer, I think of the Battlebot.
When I had my Impala I thought of it but it wouldnt have made sense on my 00 LS

Me too. Battlebots is where I first heard the refrence to Vlad, I was probably 10 years old. And yes, you are right 90% of folks who see the plate wouldn't understand it.

Seeing said plate, I would have understood who/what Vlad was but would have been scratching my head trying to figure out the connection to an Impala (maybe he's a vampire or a Russian despot in exile or maybe he's heavy into goth?).

Its a stretch Donny.

I need to add "De Sade" after the "Gran Marquis" letters on the trunk of our '93.

That would make a good plate too. Or maybe Mercury could offer it as a trim level.

"See the new Grand Marquis, de Sade edition. Concrete seats, barbed wire steering wheel and spiked brake pedal all say to the world, 'It's a de Sade.'"

You're forgetting, Dan, those who drive Impalers are generally humorless, angry people.

Another thing; only folks from Cape Cod, and Baasten add "err's" to every word, while the upper cruste from your area like to add "e's" to make a pointe. :D

Never minde, we wouldn't be shocked to hear one of our neighbors tell us he'd thrown the horse over the fence, some hay.
