I have a 06 F150 with a 3V 5.4L, it has the FX4 package and is pretty much a work truck, hualin dirt, rock, mulch and pullin a boat. I was wondering if anyone knew if I put on a set of GT heads and covers 1) would they fit??? and 2)would it increase my power range???
I would like alittle more top-end HP but I dont want to lose too much of the low-end TQ. Any suggestions anyone???
Thanks in advance,
Chinny
A good dual exhaust, chip/tune of choice and cold-air-intake and you'll have all the power you need.

Word is the 3V head design is the best yet, '05-'06 Mustang GTs are flying with off the shelf stuff like TAF mentioned ^ there.

Aight thanks for the info, but I got 1 more question.......Will the valve head covers from the Ford GT fit on my 3V 5.4L engine??? Mainly I am doing this for looks, I do plan on dressing up the engine bay alittle bit, I just like how the head covers from the Ford GT look.
Thanks again,
Chinny

no they will not work. they are for the dohc engines.....the head swap would not be worth the effort.....

Lidio has a tune for your F150 5.4 if you don't mind using premium fuel.
