Speaking of Taxes...did you know that if you visit our fine city that you are paying for our SBC Center, and Alamo Dome. Hotel, Motel and Rental car Tax.

See that is OK! However it would not work in New Jersey where they just upped the tax. You would owe money!

I just renewed the tabs on my MM last month they used to be 30$ for everyone.....Now they tax you based on the weight of your car....bull$h!t

WOW mine was 150 in May when I renewed. Is that 30 for a month or a whole year??

Before it was a normal tax rate (couple C notes). Then it was $30 a year for any car or truck. Problem was the lower rates drained the state's transportation budget practically overnight and right before the state needed muchas matching funds for federal $$ grants for various projects. Then them pinko liberals had the audacity to repeal the law and have everybody pay based on the estimated impact their vehicles have on the roads.

Oh wait a minute... I voted for the repeal too. It was either that or pay for it with some new tax on something else.

Don't get me started on vehicle registration fees. I paid $313.78 this year on the Marauder. That's a half year's insurance. Jeez.

$24.00 a year to renew. It's the $80.00 for state inspection once a year that sucks.
