I'm looking at a couple 03 MM silver right now and have definitely come to the conclusion that I NEED one of them. I'd appreciate it if you guys/girls would point to some things to look for in a used MM. The two I'm looking at are below 28k miles.
Thanks and can't wait to be a real member.

Welcome Aboard!!!
If you see one you are interested in, contact member RoyLPita with the VIN, He can do a OASIS report on the car.
I highly Recommend finding a Certified used Marauder. You then qualify for the lower APR if you finance, plus they throw a 5yr/75k Warranty on the drivetrain on top of the existing 3yr/36K.
Not only that, you know its stock and Ford went over the entire car to make sure everything is 100% when you take delivery.

You don't NEED a Marauder. No one NEEDS a Marauder. But once you've HAD a Marauder ... there's nothing else is like it. :D Good luck on your search and Welcome :welcome1: to the MM.Net.

Some have been known to blow smoke on start-up.
Some had a head cooling deficit issue.
some early builds had soft axles.
If you take your time , report your findings, we're here for Ya! :coolman:
enjoy the ride!

What do you guys mean by a certified MM?
A Lincoln Mercury dealership will certify a used car, meaning it goes through a 150 point inspection before it will be listed as certified.
Its almost like buying a new car. The Dealership goes through every part of the car to make sure its 100% then they certify it and put it up for sale. This is the car that you want.

When I was haunting the landscape for my silver '04/ moonroof I was directed by Claude (CarFixer) and was told to get a 2004. It took 11 months to find the one I bought in October '05 with 13K miles for $24,300. You know it is a high-performance vehicle so carefully inspect every inch for damage, repaint, shifted body panels. Remember; if the deal is too good to be true. Walk away.
