:thanks: So I changed my oil and fuel filter yesterday. This morning I go for milk and the Check Engine light comes on. I don't know why. I post this prob in the SSM community forum and get a call from Tallboy. He then comes to my house (about a 20 min. drive) because he tells me on the phone that I'm better off not running the MM till we know what the prob is. Mind you I've never met this guy before. Well he comes on Sunday morn none the less, plugs in his Predator reads it, tells me it is a fuel pump pressure prob obviously from the filter swap and blows out the candle. Then he cycles the car twice to make sure it is not a withstanding problem. As if that's not enough. Hecame in his Trilogy MM. WHAT A CAR!:trophy1:
Then he proceeded to let me drive his awesome machine. LET ME TELL YOU. THIS CAR WAS CLEAN. I bought a new 300A in 2003 that didn't look as good as Tallboy's car. Well it got me thinkin about the lovebug damage on my car, and when he left I got to wetsanding. I'll be darned if that damage isn't right through to the basecoat. Needless to say 7 hours of wetsanding my huge hood and I am not sasified with the results, So off to the bodyshop goes my MM this week for new paint. I was really impressed by Tallboy and his car and cannot thank him enough for coming by. We are all very lucky to have this community.:hug2: And as for Tallboy. . . . :2thumbs:

Aw, Shucks. Twarn't Nuthin.
Steve, the pleasure was mine, and I am truly happy to help. This community has done more for me than I could've ever imagined, every time I get the chance to give back, I do it. And, now, I have another friend. That big black car in the garage has changed my life in innumerable ways.

You never know what to expect from a Marauder owner. When you meet another- it's like meeting family.

He's from the VALLEY. What did you expect? He is our HUCKLEBERRY. You need help, there is Chuck. Almost before you need him. There are a lot better looking but none better. Even Jennifer likes him. Dennis:D

The folks I have met. Those who I have helped, and those who have helped me...Seems endless.
We're not a perfect family. We squabble and swing at each other with little cause. But, these wounds heal, while the friendship never seems to go away.
Bravo Steve, and bravo Chuck!
So...What's wrong with your Marauder?
BTW, did I mention that the long distance diagnostics never stop?

Th code was for a fuel pump pressure problem. Must have picked up the signal after I changed the fuel filter. Problem solved.

He is our HUCKLEBERRY.
I hope he's not our huckleberry (or huckle-bearer).
In the movie, when Doc says "I'm your huckleberry" he means that he is Johnny Ringo's pallbearer, or more to the point, he will be the one to put Ringo in his coffin.
You're right. I should be working, but the forum is more fun. :D

The love bugs generally come out in May .....
You won't have to worry about them in November.

Nothin fuzzy about love bugs. They hit your car like a heavy rain and will cause you to have to pull over just to clean windshield so you can see the road. They gather on the Highway as they are attracted to vehicle exhaust fumes and oh yeah did I mention that when they go splat they leave there acidic body juice to eat through your paint. If not cleaned off within hours you've got pits through your paint. And man are they tough to clean off.
