Thats the 4 door SRT-10 its an auto. I wonder how it would of been with the 2 door SRT-10 with the manual. Looking at Car and Drivers site they test both the Quad-cab and the 2 door. The Quad ran a 14.2 quarter where the 2 door runs a 13.6. Definitly and difference. Still a bad a$$ ranger my cousin had a 5.0 swapped ranger that thing hauled.

Hopefully someone from Ford will finally connect the dots and realize that they can trick out a Ranger for cheap with parts from the bin and breathe some life into that neglected truck.

The QC runs mid 13's stock and the RC's stock high 12's with a good driver. Not blazing fast but the QC is over 6000 lbs so not shabby. Ask me how I know.....

Believe me....I've been thinking about it!

But I wouldn't do a 5.0 conversion...I'd rather drop in a new 3.7L V6 Ti-VVT with a 6 speed auto from a 2011 Mustang or F150.

Can you say 307 HP and 30 mpg on 87 octane?....:D

BTW:
Even though it's got a Cummins....This is one bad diesel Ranger!
I love when it pulls up and you hear that diesel idling....It's like WTF?
