Ok, so i removed my old Bob white decals on the rear bump, they came off pretty easily, but they left some of their adhesive behind. Someone had suggested windex, which didnt work too well.
Does anyone know of a way to get all the adhesive off without taking the paint off too?

WD-40 with a clean paper towel or rag. Rub gently. I don't think it will hurt the paint but try it on a spot not normally visible first, like inside a wheel well, to make sure.

WD-40 works good, If not use some warm water with dawn dishwasher soap and make it very soapy. It will take it right off.

Goo Gone.
It helped get the sticker backing off my rims from the wheel weights.
Had to let it sit and work in for a while, then some gentle rubbing with a Goo Gone moistened, soft clean towel. Good Luck.

Usually the hairdryer with a damp cloth does the trick for adhesive

3M Adhesive and Wax remover.

Make sure to wax the area following, regardless which product you decide to use.

When I got my MM, bought used, the previous owner had installed a set of Chrome Vynal Stickers in the letters.

Some WD-40, a hair-dryer and the end of a plastic Zip Tie worked wonders.

Denatured alcohol worked great on mine and did not hurt the paint at all.

Goo Gone, Lighter Fluid and IPA (Rubbing Alcohol) work well on paint finishes.....Just don't do a lot of hard rubbing as you will "Scuff" the clear coat!!:argue:

Ditto on this, works well.
Available at larger auto parts stores, or an automotive body supply shop.

Yup....most, if not all of these solutions, remove any wax that may be there.

Here is the best solution-----Install N E W inserts of the color of your choice and place them back in there --where it shows what your all about---it was meant to be--why else have those inserts--think about it-----

Actually---IMOP --just replace with newer ones---
